It is highly effective against yeasts, moulds and certain bacteria in acidic environments (pH ≤ 4.5), inhibiting microbial growth and extending product shelf life.
Our food grade sodium benzoate meets the specifications of the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) and is suitable for use in beverages, sauces, jams, fruit juices, cosmetics and pharmaceutical formulations. It is also used as a technical grade preservative in industrial and personal care applications.
