Inquire About This ProductLinear Alkylbenzene Sulphonic Acid (LABSA) is the most widely produced anionic surfactant worldwide and the principal active ingredient in laundry powders, liquid detergents, dish wash liquids and industrial cleaners. It is produced by the sulphonation of linear alkylbenzene (LAB) with sulphur trioxide.
Our LABSA is supplied at 96% minimum active matter and is compatible with a broad range of alkaline builders, sequestrants and other surfactants. It is neutralised with caustic soda or triethanolamine to form SDBS/LAS salts for use in finished formulations.
